| In my digital drawing series, I use a digital pad to sketch my everyday life on a computer, as a visual diary. On the one hand, my aim is to depict the early 21st century life through the eyes of an immigrant in the west. On the other hand, i explore the particularities of digital technology to create a new visual and artistic experience, characterized by anon-linear working process and the availability of millions of color options without ever actually mixing color. ---wu zhi 2010 |
